Positives:Nice wide angle for cameras with 1.6 crop factor like the Digital Rebel, 20D, and 30D.Works well with landscape photos.Good range for a walk around lens.This lens has survived my hiking abuse.Negatives:Lens extends when zooming, as opposed to lenses where the zoom is internal.
